9.02(2) HUNTING ON TOWN-0WNED PROPERTY:  (a) Hunting, gun or bow, and the discharge of firearms shall be prohibited on all land owned by the Town of Rome except as follows: 1. Bow Only Hunting Permitted:  Bow hunting shall be permitted on the following parcels.  The discharge of a firearm on these parcels is prohibited. 

a.  Parcel No. 30-780 (Alpine Village). The NW ¼ of the NW ¼ of Section 17, Township 20 North, Range 6 East, less and except parcels owned by others.

Town of Rome Ordinance 7.05 REGULATION AND LICENSING OF FIREWORKS:

It shall be unlawful for any person, association or corporation in the Town of Rome, to manufacture, store, offer for sale, sell or otherwise dispose of or distribute, fireworks, without complying with the provisions of Wis. State Stats. Sections 167.07 through 167.10


State Statute 167.10(3)(a):
 
USE OF FIREWORKS:
No person may possess or use fireworks without a user's permit from the mayor of the city, president of the village or chairperson of the town in which the possession or use is to occur or from an official or employee of that municipality designated by the mayor, president or chairperson. No person may use fireworks or a device listed under sub. (1) (e) to (g) or (i) to (n) while attending a fireworks display for which a permit has been issued to a person listed under par. (c) 1. to 5. or under par. (c) 6. if the display is open to the general public.


14.01 NAVIGABLE WATERS: (1) REGULATION OF WATER TRAFFIC, BOATING, AND WATER SPORTS UPON THE WATERS OF LAKE SHERWOOD, LAKE CAMELOT, AND LAKE ARROWHEAD:

(d) Speed Restrictions: 1. No watercraft shall be operated at a speed greater than slow-no-wake before sunrise or after 8:00 p.m. or at any time when entering, traveling in or leaving a posted section of water. The speed limitation contained in this section shall not apply to any patrol or rescue craft.

(e) Water Skiing: 1. Water skiing, for the period of May 1st through August 15th, shall be limited to the daylight hours between 10:00 am and 8:00 pm or sunset, whichever comes first. Water-skiing during all other times of the year shall be restricted to the hours of 10:00 am to sunset.

2. No person may operate a motorboat towing more than two persons on water skis, aquaplane or similar device at one time, unless the skiing party provides a pick up boat to be in operation while skiing.

(f) Races, Regattas, Sporting Events and Exhibitions:

1. No person shall direct or participate in any boat race, regatta, water ski meet or other water-sporting event, or exhibition unless such event has been authorized by the Town Board.

(g) No Motor Area: 1. No person shall operate any motor on any motorized boat or similar device within any designated "No Motor Operation Area". All waters north of the County Trunk D bridge that compromise the Walden area of Lake Camelot are designated a "no motor operation area".
