Many town roads are open and marked with ATV Route signs or arrows. Operators must stay on route. Riders are encouraged to stop by the Rome Municipal Building or Pritzl's Trading Post for up-to-date maps of town ATV designated routes and park information.

Every effort is made to make the above maps complete and accurate, but some changes occur from year to year. Follow the marked trails since they will be most accurate.

Monroe Prairie ATV Recreational Area (aka Bentley Hills) is leased from Plum Creek (PC) in cooperation with Adams County.  The trails are maintained by Monroe Prairie ATV Club, Inc. PC assumes no responsibility in maintaining the ATV trails or adjoining property in a safe condition for ATV and recreational users.

Dyracuse Recreational Park

This area is state funded by the Motorcycle Recreational Program Fund. It is operated by the Town of Rome in cooperation with Rapids Angels Motorcycle Club. 

The Town recently acquired an additional 80 acres to expand the park. Trails in this area are currently being developed and plan to open in 2010.

Dyracuse Park fees are for operators of ATV's and off-road motorcycles only. Street bike visitors and other non-riding spectators are admitted free, except for days when competitive events are being held.  The park is available for private rental during the week for a minimum fee, paid in advance.
