Electrical Permit
- is required before an inspection can be done and subsequently an
electrical release sent to Adams - Columbia Electric Co-operative. The
current fee for an electrical permit is $50.00.
2. The
electrical utility (ACEC) has certain rules in addition to the State
Electrical Code requirements. The phone # for ACEC is 1-800-831-8629.
One of their requirements is that you have a min. of 100 amp service
with a 100 amp disconnect. The State requires that any 15 or 20 amp
receptacles installed outdoors are required to be GFCI protected.
Driveway Permit
- All Driveways installed, altered, changed, replaced or
extended after 10/10/96 must have a driveway permit and be
approved as to location by the Director of Public works.
Driveways on the County Trunk System require a County
driveway permit issued by Adams County.
